I like Iceland for online shopping. The delivery is free past £40 and they have a lot of vegan stuff although you do have to search for it as they don’t have a vegan filter.
So I was very disappointed to see tonight that they’ve gone into collaboration with a service that is just a whisker away from an illegal scam.
I wouldn’t let that put you off using the shop or the website but as always caveat emptor.
National Express and Trainline also do it.
Isn’t this just every sort of service like that?
You’re either paying in some data and marketing, or outright in interest
The Domino’s pizza app does the same, after finishing your order you get an ad for one of these dodgy cashback schemes
Nothing dodgy about it from what I remember.
Got ~£20-£30 cashback and left after a few weeks.
Pretty sure it mentioned a 30 day trial and then a monthly fee.
If you don’t read something before clicking/signing up then that’s on you.
