I’ve been staying the fuck away from Smågodt ever since I found a half-eaten piece in my bag. If I really want candy, I take from the two top shelves where taste testing children can’t reach.

Do you have Swedish Fish? (the candy, not literal fish, you know, the red herrings… they’re cherry and strawberry flavored.)
I think half the problem is that when the spoons are not in the boxes sticking out under the lid, they’re very difficult to spot because someone decided they should be the same colour plastic as the wall. So people take the spoon they see in a box, and leave it in a box just how they found it.
But putting the whole spoon down into the box seems malicious, it’s neither visible to the next customer nor is it hygienic for the candy, and the shaft would get all sticky to use as well. Yuck!
