Been working 2 jobs 7 days a week since October 2019…. Kissed goodbye to social life. Friends , family… weekend job pays for rent/bills. And weekday job goes to saving for the ever dwindling dream of owning a home and getting married. But it’s taught me discipline and definitely teaching me to preserve. Been through some very very dark days and weeks…
Like that famous quote from Tom hardy , that being alone but not lonely is very very addictive..
So Corporate 2023 be looking like:
1. Hike all the prices
2. Squeeze all the tax cuts
3. Strip workers rights
4. *Laugh in Etonian at families being forced to get 2 jobs..*
5. ..because that’s even less working rights!
6. *Caviar parties while Britain starves*
7. ????
8. Profit!!!!
Is this a good example?
Ms Harford, who is a part-time nurse, took on a second job with an energy company in April to boost her income.
“It was a double-edged thing,” she says. “It was to make sure we have a decent quality of life now, but also about future planning, for our financial security.”
The job at the energy firm pays much better than her nursing job.
The energy firm job is basically a MLM job for Utility Warehouse. Most people doing this earn a pittance, certainly not more than a nurse. So either she is lying or she is one of the few very lucky people doing that job.
I was worried the BBC would be afraid to attack the tories after Boris left.
Great to see they are fighting the good fight to remove them from power forever
Second jobs?! I’ve been applying like the devil since starting my current crap and I might as well still be jobless! I had better luck when I was unemployed.
