55 Tufton Street: The other black door shaping British politics

  1. Have the BBC finally woke up to what’s been happening in the last decade, or is it now so obvious that the Tories have trashed the country that they are no longer so servile?

  2. Last couple of weeks have been pretty amazing for mainstream media outlets finally catching up with what “Woke Lefties” have been saying for years now. Shame its too late and we’re locked into the Tories hollowing out our nation for the next 2 years. Labour will win the next election, but what will they inherit? A shattered husk that will need years of solid effort just to get us slightly back on track.

  3. I listened to a debate on the current economic crisis on the radio earlier- on one side an economics professor from Sheffield university and in the other a guy from the Institute of Economic Affairs.

The guy from the IEA got absolutely destroyed. On every bit of positive spin the IAE guy tried to put on the situation – “it’s just a blip”, “it’s an international problem because of global markets” etc etc he got shot to bits.

The most important question the professor put to the man from the IEA was tell me who funds you or I’m not going to take you seriously – which was met with crickets chirping and tumbleweeds. He then went to say he found it insulting to be debating this issue with someone who can’t even be honest about where their funding comes from.

I support the bbc in general, but giving shady fuckwits airtime to let them try and polish the current economic turd without them first being open about who funds them is not balance.

Well done that Professor for putting up with zero bullshit. Shady think tank groups that do not at the very least declare their funding should be given zero airtime.

  4. This address in conjunction with some nefarious and shifty dealing or other seems to crop up about once a month at the moment.
