This is the family tree in a Finnish Bible from 1948 that was passed down to me after my grandparents passed.

  1. Nobody asked, but the faded text at the top is the 1938 Finnish translation of Ephesians 6:2-3: “Honour thy father and mother; […] That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”

  2. I have the same Perheraamattu. I’m not religious in any sense, but it’s one of my fav possessions just for the Gustave Doré art and the smell of old ink.
