My colleague was fired yesterday for literally *no* legitimate reason. One meaningless accusation and it was over for him before it was even disproven. Just what the fuck, I’m still at loss for words. And if I may be so egoistical I’m left yet again having to do all the work until someone new is hired who I will yet again have to explain everything to. God why don’t I just have the balls to quit.
My friend is basically being bullied at work by management ever since she’s told them she’s pregnant.
I hate how people can be such vile creatures sometimes.
I want him, he’s mine, give him to me!
Stopped smoking for 2 years and never wanted a cig more than the past week. Have to keep myself from stopping on the way to work and buying a pack every goddamn day and it’s driving me nuts.
Back from 1 week at the dominican republic, scuba’d for the first time, but it was otherwise average. next year road tripping again.
I mean it was nice and had good rest but the jetlag, mediocre food and the vertigo aftermath of yesterday made it meh.
Anybody know what happened in the centrum of Antwerp, in the Gemeentestraat?
Saw a bunch of police vans and a police detective (i think, she wasn’t dressed like a regular office) who got very upset at some point coming out of a building.
I am feeling better now after having booster shots symptoms. But my armpit is still very sore.
In other news, I always lucked out with direct managers. And I worked in very different stuff from construction, project management, supermarket, factory line, food delivery, structural engineering, hotel, advertising, journalism (life of an immigrant is a mess folks). Some areas where you expect a bit of overstressed dicks, but all my direct bosses were super warm, calm and helpful (the companies not so much). I always had a friendship relationship with them, lots of joking and chitchat which comes with many discussions about work-work-work.
I have now a boss that is a complete zero talker, stone face. It feels a bit weird, I can not read them at all.
We exchange like 5 sentences during the day about what I need to do, when, and that’s it. I don’t see them again, they give me plenty of time and I am left alone to do my own thing.
I think I prefer this way.
I got an invitation for a 4th covid shot. That will not happen tho. I did all 3 shots before, never got a covid (or symptoms atleast) and I was living with a covid infested wife meanwhile. So yeah, I think my body can handle it without additional shots, huh.
Other than that, from my story of selling stuff, just an electronic piano left, and ibm model m keyboard. It went quite well.
Btw, I hate when people say “drop the price because I live far away”, like since when it’s my problem?
Back to the [simrig](https://imgur.com/a/Gpjk0ik). Replacing t.16000m stick with VKB Gladiator NXT was a brilliant idea. Whoever wants to buy a joyatick for a PC, please, avoid all that fancy stuff from logitech and others, and focus on VKB (best money to quality) or Virpil (best). But I will stick to TWCS so far, just add some nyogel767a when it will be shipped to my place, as virpil mongoose t50 cm3 is quite pricey and has to wait, for now.
I need to look for a nicer car seat.
I had my first EHBO lesson today. I’m not really used anymore to a classroom environment. Very diverse set of people that were attending the class as well.
I’d like to think I’m a bit of an autodidact that makes good use of his free time to learn stuff on his own but I don’t think I would’ve been as good on my own as I was in this class with other people. It’s hard to be your own teacher I guess.
