I call it the fast cooker, because it’s on the counter next to the slow cooker.
What weight was it and how long had you it on for? It came out very well by the looks of things
That looks good, how long did it take?
Started doing this a few months ago, I think it’s nicer than from the oven. It’s juicier.
How long did it take, or did you just wing it..?
Nice work. Never considered roasting a chicken in an air fryer, looks like you got good results!
Mmmmm Chicken 🤤
What food did u have with it? If it was for a roast ,did u have to put the oven on for roasters?
Looks great Op. Is it cooked throughout? I only ask because I’m pure paranoid when it comes to chicken.
Boredoflunch on Instagram if you haven’t already heard of him Irish guy does unreal recipes with air fryer and slow cooker 👍
Great for left over takeaway pizza!
Did the full roast in line tonight. Chicken, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, even the gravy. The thing is just magical.
Ahh little chicken is in a pose of clemency, head bowed legs and arms crossed. Or it’s a zenomorph being birthed. I’d still eat the fucker looks delish.
Looks great, nicely done
Excellent, doing one for the1st time tmrw myself.
I have been told to cook it breast down for 30 mins first
The fryer also brings left over chips back to life as new.
Looks delicious. Watch your electric heaters and how long they are on for, if you want to save money. A 2k Watt heater draws 2.3 kw will use about 35 cent in 30 minutes. Typically a person could use their heater for 4 hours per day. So over 4 euro a day over a months is 112 euro.
Edit : I’ve the maths slightly off. .35 cent for 30 mins x by 4 hrs = 2.80
So monthly total is €84
Anyway, there’s price hike soon so my wrong figures might be right again!
Ye should try cooking a chicken in a crock pot (slow cooker) It tastes out of this world, when cooked after several hours I then put it in the air fryer for ten mins to brown.
cut the string around the legs and cook upside down
Air fryer chicken is best chicken.
I buy the Aldi free range chickens and part them out as 4 portions – 2 breasts and 2 portions of a leg, wing, thigh. Coat in oil and a little salt then 20 mins in the air fryer and stick the Aldi thin chips in after 8 minutes.
Air fryers are a disgrace to the art of cooking. For BCS fans, If an oven was Chuck McGill professional Attorney at Law, then an Air Fryer would be Saul Goodman.
My air fryer was a game changer for me too. I love cooked a chicken out of it! I still put mine in a roasting bag to keep it clean and save the juice for gravy but it tastes as close to rotisserie chicken as I’ve ever had.
I was going to buy the air fryer with the rotisserie in it, but I wondered if I’d get use out of it. (I would have.)
Also: air fryer brownies. Stuff of the gods.
Has anyone a decent recipe website for airfryers, I feel like im stuck on the same things every time i use it.
Toasted cheese sandwiches. You can thank me later.
Yep! Worst thing they did was call it an air fryer. It’s actually a small rapid fan assisted oven. Anything you can cook in an oven you can cook in it!
Would the fat not spray up into the fan and fuck the thing over
Should I get an air fryer or a slow cooker? Which is best / cheapest / tastiest?
looks great, air fryers are awesome whoever invented them was a genus
Can anyone recommend an airfryer for a family of 5? I know the ninja duo gets good reviews, but difficult to get. What’s easy to clean? Sorry to be a boring old hag and not do a Google search
I always do my chicken in the air fryer. Melt some real butter throw in diced garlic gloves some herbs baste the chicken add salt pepper and paprika put it on 180 for and hour every 10 or 15 mins pour the juices from the air fryer into a coup and re baste. Try it and thank me later. 😍
Air frying is as revolutionary as air conditioning
I recycled my air fryer last year because I never used it. It was this bulky thing just taking counter space (I have a lot of stuff in my kitchen). Maybe I didn’t give it a fair chance.
Literally did our whole sunday dinner in ours yesterday (except the mash obvs), roasties and veg were unreal and the chicken was done in like 40mins!
Air fryers are pretty costly on electricity.
Looks fookin Delish, any brown sauce?
Oh yes, now I love air fryers I’ve been cooking most food with it
Saving electricity very much depends on your oven. If you’ve a modern, well insulated, not over sized fan oven, they’re usually extremely efficient. The energy hogs are older ovens with bad door seals and poor insulation.
If your oven makes the room warm, that’s a sign that it’s really bad option for cooking.
A decent oven will barely get warm in the outside.
The other issue with a bad oven is air leaks and that results in the desiccated, dry meats, uneven cooking and generally bad results.
A good, modern oven should be able to perform as efficiently as these air fryers.
Also things like using closed door grilling with circulating air (a lot of modern ovens do this) saves a fortune in electricity.
Looks bloody good
How long did it take?
Anyone got any recipes for an oldstyle pressure cooker? Most recipes seem to be aimed at slow cookers or instant pot.
Get a tower 10 in 1. It has a rotisserie on it and its GREAT.
I wouldn’t call it energy saving look at the amount of watts it’s using it’s a lot.

The air fryer is a great job for lots of things.
