Hey,
I’m just after learning about the existence of [Celtword](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtworld). Alas, I was too young to visit during its heyday but I am very interested in what all the fuss was about. Does anyone have any old photos of their time there? I’d love to get a sense of what the interior looked like but there seems to be absolutely nothing available online bar a few photos

By 2020, it had been redeveloped as an Aldi supermarket.
I went when it first opened back in the 90s. Was young but I do remember the big eye coming down. It was like a big cinema and I’m not sure if it moved while you were seated or the screens moved.
I went as part of my school tour in the early 90s. I was given Ray-Ban glasses to sit in a theater to watch some 3D show – cutting edge stuff. A big troll thing jumped on out and I was like WTF!!? I don’t know…I was like 6 or 7. The rest…I can’t remember but we did Splashworld afterwards. Great day!
I went there a couple of times as a kid. Was kid of cool. Remember the eye for sure

I went there when I was a child. Loved it
It was made into a nightclub in the early 00s, called South. Some of the murals from when it was Celtworld were kept on the stairwells (if my very hazy memory is correct).

There used to be an animatronic head that would talk to people as it passed. Because the place was opened up for our school tour, the staff allowed us to use the head and chat through it.
