it’s interesting that almost every source in michelle bachelet’s report is an “unofficial translation”
Don’t piss off a foreign force you depend on while they’re dealing with your own enemy too, Europe.
Maybe we should deal with Putin before we piss off the chinese.
From the article:
“Just minutes before her mandate ended, **the office of now-former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet published its long-overdue assessment of human rights in China’s Xinjiang region.**
**It contained damning findings of mass arbitrary detention of Uighur minority people, forced labour, torture, sexual and gender-based violence, as well as other atrocities which could legally be considered crimes against humanity**.
**This chimes with the position of the European Parliament, which had already overwhelmingly voted to recognise the Chinese government’s treatment of the Uighurs as such**. But where does the EU go from here? We put the question to two MEPs.”
Either the EU understands that blood money flowing in from the CCP REGIME is the opposite of moral integrity or nothing can change.
The EU MUST STAND UP TO CHINA.
Just how strongly-worded can a letter get? We’re about to find out.
Stop selling shit to China and buying stuff from China.
