Day well spent foraging for wild mushrooms

    Lovely with sausage and rasher in the middle of two of them with egg or red sauce.

    I don’t know anything about foraging though.

  2. I’m always afraid to eat anything other that the white ones with the pink gills. Fair play to you though!

    Had some freshly picked mushrooms in a chicken and mushroom stew and it was fucking delicious. Can’t beat the fresh ones for flavour

  3. Would love to know how but am petrified to go foraging incase I kill myself! Can pick the magic ones no bother, but real edible ones no clue!

  4. A handy tip is to collect mushrooms in a basket with holes, like a wicker one or the metal ones with little holes dotted all over them.

    This way, the spores will fall through and it will cause mushroom growth in the area where you’ve picked them.

    Those look delicious, did I see chicken of the woods?
