Snowlanterns like this one and with snowballs stacked in a pyramide with a candle in the middle is a tradition many norwegians have, and theyviften make them around winter time.
Submerging a bucket in a larger bucket makes a nice lantern. My dad used to make these and decorate with spruce twigs. This was back in Norway, so for me it’s fitting for the sub.
