Isn’t that where Peig of the book called Peig? I had to ‘study ‘ it for leaving cert Irish. Just thinking about it makes me feel sad: the first line if the biography is;( English translation) ‘here am I am old woman with one foot in the grave ‘ why was of considered a book for teenagers to study?????? It destroyed my interest in the beautiful language of Irish. Does anyone else remember the book?
