  1. Unfortunately with how fragmented our society is now its a zero sum game with focusing on protections of specific groups. Being Pro one thing makes you anti in the eyes of another group. It probably explains why most governments have been Blairite for the last 15 years, make politics all things to everyone.

  2. As soon as you put -phonia or -ism on the end of whatever it is you’re fighting against you lose credibility, because it shows a lack of understanding of the nuance of a situation

  3. Interesting how people in this thread are already diverting to partition blame on Hindu nationalism despite the fact that it’s had very little, to no, impact here in the UK. At the same time, some people will defend Islam despite far more material damage being caused by it. Looking at the track records for Islam vs Hinduism, I’d be far more concerned for Hindus in the UK than Muslims.

  4. About time someone started a campaign against arachnophobia meaning a fear of spiders, so why isn’t Hindu phobia or other phobias like it mean a fear of the subject, before the abuse directed at me it is an honest question

  5. Cant wait for Sikhs and Muslims protesting the BJP party to be labelled as “Hinduphobes”.

Hinduphobia belongs in the same bucket as Russophobia. A label to deflect criticisms of nationalism.
