  1. Would be lying if I said I wasn’t salty over this. I still think Glasgow is by far the better choice to host. Ah well, at least it’ll still be an enjoyable show even if I can’t experience it in person.

  2. I’m pleased for Liverpool this is great for the city, it’s a shame Glasgow didn’t get it, I’d be able to go to Glasgow. But Liverpool is a great city and this’ll showcase it well… Well apart from all the dreadfully cringe VTs that they’re going to show!

  3. Both cities are comparable to a bombed part of Ukraine and the dialects are equally unintelligible. About as close a match to Kiev as you could hope for.

  4. i think what all the comments in here are missing is that the uk are proxy holders of this event..the real place should have been kyiv…. so…i may be wrong about this… but we should pull together to make this not about UK but about UA
hold the event at any point on the compass in the uk it isnt our event cos we didnt win!

  5. I’m pleased it’s Liverpool only for the logistics, I’m sure there is a greater population for which the show is accessible without needing accommodation.
