Do you guys approve this homemade pizza from sweden?

  1. Looks very good! I live in the Netherlands and the best wood oven pizza place nearby is owned by two Dutch pizza makers. I’ve tried the Italian ones around, but they all use electric ovens and since they impprt stuff from Italy (why not just use fresh local stuff? lol) the mozzarella is sometimes a bit off. Never judge a pizza by the passport of who makes it.

  2. No. I don’t approve. I’m going to have to confiscate that from you … so just give it here. Don’t even think about resisting.

  3. As citizen of Naples, house and land of the Pizza, by the power invested in me I declare I would totally eat your pizza.

  4. I live in Sweden so I am a legal representative of r/Italy and it’s mandatory for me to test it before you get the approval of the board

  5. Very nice cornicione! It looks really tasty!

My only comment is that from the picture I have the impression you used quite a lot of flour to help flattening the pizza disk?

When cooking this burns and leaves a bitter aftertaste. You can avoid this using semolina flour when flattening.

Also, try adding some water in the oven, the extra steam prevents the crust to burn too quickly and compensates for the extra time it need to cook compared to the wooden oven

  6. we do.

you have been judged good and worthy, and the italian embassy in stockholm will deliver your pizzaport in a couple week.
