I found bullets for my grandads gun (dismantled long ago) kept in a matchbox in the attic

  1. Technically its a serious firearms offence to posses them without a firearms certificate for that caliber. Best to drop them off with AGS.

  2. 22lr.

According to legend, the largest bear ever killed by a fire arm was killed by a 22lr. Also according to legend it was beloved by mafia hitmen due to how quiet it was (think Andy Stone getting whacked at the end of Casino). In real life, it was the choice of Gambino hitman Thomas Principe.

Another poster is getting ripped to shreds for referring to it as a pea shooter. I’ve never heard it referred to it as that, but definitely as a plinker. You can buy boxes of 500 here in the US and I think 50 is the smallest box you can buy. They’re mostly used for instruction to shooting or target practice.

How many were in the box?

  3. My granda kept a shotgun in a guitar case with shells in his living room for ages. He just let me fuck around with it if he was looking after me . Between me being a dumbass kid and him being irresponsible, I shouldn’t be here right now. But god must’ve picked me as one of his favourites .

  4. I’ve loads of .22 ammo in little matchboxes in the attic from my grandad too. I think they could be from the sixties
