Swiss Federal Railways (Schweizerische Bundesbahnen) has redesigned and updated the SBB Mobile app.

Available for iPhone and Android (the rollout has started today)

  1. The “trips” function is nice. No longer need to re-search the trip if the app quits.

    International ticket purchasing is still limited.

  2. Put your destination the same as your departure then click on the conductor a couple of times.. see what happens : )

  3. Not updated yet but I hope they didn’t ruin it, its basically perfect with every feature you would ever need and the interface is already great and really customizable. Usually when a company updates an app that is really good they just make it worse, remove and dumb it down because “user experience”, design or whatever

  4. Meh I think it got worse, I liked that you could personalize the main page, now I need to have that easyride and shop page always there on the bottom, wish i could remove them

  6. I love it, they simply improved the problematic use cases without being too creative and breaking what was already working before.

    I specially like that EasyRise is now a different tab, that means you do not need to loose your current search and have to search again afterwards just to enable EasyRide.

    The new commute option seems broken at the moment but it looks promising.
