Basically at my work our stock comes from your beautiful country and the truck driver today gave me several of these as a gift for unloading his truck quickly, can anybody tell me what this actually is please? Do I have to cook it?

You dont, it’s salami
Just cut and eat!
Well, it looks like a salami. I suppose it doesn’t have any label on it, I don’t want to be mean but to me it looks like a cheap salami :))
Anyway, I think you don’t need to cook it but from what it seems the casing is definitely not edible ^~^
called salam as in salami, you slice it peel the plastic and eat it with bread , its meat for sandwiches, u could put it on pizza too maybe
Salami
Its salami but it doesn’t look edible
Eat it with mustard is better:)
It’s a manele singer
Looks kinda bad, I wouldnt eat … but im a picky teenager that didnt eat many traditional foods because of this.
Actually, it looks quite good and possibly home made. Might be a sort of “summer salami”, which is a popular form of salmi around here.
These bitches that say “it’s cheap” are only used with shit salami from supermarkets. How does it taste?
It looks like cheap-er salami that’s usually sold here as “summer salami”.
To be fair it looks more “meaty” than the one found in stores, i dunno if he knows a guy or makes it himeslf, but when we share food with coworkers it’s 99.9% a good natured gesture so you can eat it safely.
Enjoy your meal mate.
I would fry it before eating! Or use it for pizza!
Salami. You slice it, peel the casing, commonly consumed with bread or chips (the UK kind) or mamaliga (polenta) & cheese. No cooking of the salami needed.
The salami in your pic looks … a bit weird. I’d only try a small slice. If the smell is bad, then none.
Basically is processed food with low quality meat and to much salt. Like everywhere. If you like it eat the bastard with some fresh bread an Dijon mustard. Even better, you can put it in homemade pizza. Enjoy.
eat it its delicious , but smell it first and trust your gut
For better understanding Brits call these sausages, or polish sausage. This is similar but just bigger in size.
Step 1: slice the bloody thing;
Step 2: remove the casing or be smart and remove the casing before slicing 🤯;
Step 3: put some mustard on a slice of bread;
Step 4: add slices of salami;
Step 5: eat and drink beer;
It’s a work of art
Boof it
Mandatory to be eaten on newspaper!😋😀
Do not eat that crap, it’s got so much sodium nitrate you will get colon cancer within a week, this is the shit that kills more Romanians than anything else. Chuck it in the bin, there’s almost no meat in that, only artificial compounds and colorants, just stay away.
