  1. The whole roof of the shop looks like it colapsed. Still tons of people trapped hours later right now, looks like it will take all night and tomorrow to get ones out hopefully most will be alive

  2. That’s two floors collapsed, I stayed in the top attic apartment on holiday 5 years ago! The one that’s now gone. I think there’s about 8 apartments in the complex mostly holiday let’s then. This is awful 😞

  3. Looks like a few flats were attached to the petrol station – I’m no planning permission expert but surely this must be against some sort of regulation due to the inherent threat of danger?

  4. From that view it looks like the explosion came from the 1st floor of the middle collapsed building. What would cause that, a gas leak or something? Don’t modern cookers and heaters switch off if they detect a leak?

  5. I’m not an expert but it looks like the explosion came from one of the apartments above and blew towards the left side where the exterior to the other apartments on the left are destroyed and all the rubble below it. Bless them all heard there’s still people trying to communicate through the rubble so thank god they’re still with us 🙏

  6. Wow , had not heard about this as I don’t have any Irish news channels, that looks and sounds absolutely horrific and so sad for those who lost loved ones. Hope the death toll does not raise too much as I see some posts saying 9 already. I hope burns victims are not too bad. Shocking.
