That’s about what I expected from the „Bundesrat campaign“ – real Bünzlis found their inner Blockwart and start pointing at everyone who dares to use electricity.
Edit: As most people seem not to get my point I feel free to add this: it’s of course absolutely ok to call out companies that waste energy but every one of us must do their part too.
Calling out companies and wasting energy in our private homes won’t just cut it but the Bünzli move is to call out companies and then lean back and change nothing because „they have to move first before I move too“.
Well…. They’re right… Why T F were lights on during night?
In my office it’s the same issue… 2000 computers, 6000 screen, never completely turned off…
Then, they’re promoting Green ESG funds 🤣
EDIT : Oh and I forgot… I already raised the issue 3 years ago… I don’t care about the actual situation…
A citizen calling out a company for wasting electricity during a energy crisis…? Don’t really see the issue in that. Wish more people would start calling out the bigger players/corporations.
Totally agree. Why should we always ask individuals to save as much energy as possible while you have shops turning on their lights 24h/7 thanks to us their electricity bill won’t be too expensive for them to advertise their shit at drunkards at 2 am.
And meanwhile the hottest region of the planet will hold winter games.
nuclear energy ✊🏻
I actually agree with the person complaining. IMO, businesses that stay lit overnight should be fined. If we want to keep our electricity through the winter, the biggest users need to cut back. Asking ordinary people to freeze in their homes while corporations just waste energy is insane.
“Das Fitnesscenter war am Sonntag für 20 Minuten nicht erreichbar.” hardly surprising
They always dump these responsibilities on the individual.
I’m all for conserving electricity, but isn’t the majority of electricity in Switzerland produced through hydroelectricity and nuclear? Why would there be a shortage this season?
