Dear Slovenian community,
after having visited your beautiful country numerous times, it turns out that some of my ancestors actually were born there! However, I’m having some serious trouble finding the specific location and wanted to try my luck here. Maybe some of you can help?
Specifically, I’m looking for a village/town/settlement called “Drušič” (actually, the birth certificate spells it “Drušiĉ”, but this may have been a typo). This place supposedly was located in “Krain” (\[Dežela\] Kranjska ) in 1893. Searching the internet brought close to zero success, so I appreciate any tips or information you may have! Thanks a lot!

EDIT: Here’s the name together with “Pfarre” (=Parish): [https://imgur.com/a/aXvvR3a](https://imgur.com/a/aXvvR3a)

Maybe Hrušica near Jesenice? Thats only thing that sounds familiar to me tbh
Could you post a scan / photo of the certificate in question as there could be more clues on it?
Could be Tržič? Maybe i’m wrong, maybe im not… check it out here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tr%C5%BEi%C4%8D
Maybe it’s a village named Drašiči?
Where was the certificate issued?

Check this interactive map. It contains historical names of majority of places in Krain.
On a quick glance you probably misread that name…
