We moved into an apartment in Stockholm and need to get some blinds installed. I can install blinds myself as I have done this in old apartments but the windows frames are decorated so a long basic roller blind doesn’t sit flush and won’t work. Any other suggestions? I have seen some screw holes on the top plinth of the window frame.

Double curtains with one of them being thick and dark like at a hotel?
Or just put up a regular roll down blind and you’ll forget about how it doesn’t fit in in no time.
