Same thing happened in Dublin. Everyone cried at the start, plans changed and progressed
Have you looked at the plans for cork city? Particularly the north side of the city? The side thats made up mostly of steep hills? Removing on street parking and putting in two way cycle lanes on steep hills make no sense to anyone. Especially when there are no alternatives suggested.
Losing car park space on land you don’t own and some trees. Trees are important and everyone should be replaced but these people need to think bigger
Can we stop preventing progress to appease old people please? I’m sorry the place you live in has changed but that’s just part of getting older, and to be expected unless you live down some boreen on your own land.
