For example is there anyone who takes Off The Ball to task on their opinions content and uses clips of their show to make their arguments? It’s proper order in Britain in the dog eat dog world of football opinion content creation on all levels of audience platform.. For example here is The Football Terrace taking talkSPORT to task using clips of the piece he is critiquing..https://youtu.be/lQ0LrvQlo6U.. Its quite backward and unhealthy that we don’t seem to be able to string together anything..btw OTBs tagline is “Irelands First And Only Sports Radio Station”, wheres the healthy pushbacks. A good camera and some opinions on the topic seems to be all it takes to build an audience if it’s coherent or just interesting.

Isn’t that what mates are for? Me and my mates argue over difference of opinion on the pub or via WhatsApp if we’re not in the pub.
Ex professional players and professional journalists are likely better to listen to than some random person voicing their opinion in their bedroom.
You know it’s free to start your own YouTube channel and create whatever content you want, right OP?
In the example of Off The Ball, there’s probably no one that’s willing to take them on publicly. Reason being is that we have two national channels broadcasting sport, RTÉ and NewsTalk. If you’re seem to be berating one, you definitely won’t get a job with the other. Just look at the (laughable) IMRO awards, same faces, same awards, different years. We don’t have audience sizes that are big enough for anyone to go up against these with a YouTube/Indie equivalent. Second Captains being an obvious alternative however they built their audience on NewsTalk.
