Aquí no hay quien viva needs no introduction on this subreddit (if you’re from Spain at least). It was the great Antena 3 Madrid sitcom from the early 2000’s. Benidorm is a British sitcom making fun of the rowdy tourists who invade every summer. When the Solana hotel bartender Mateo (the only recurring Spanish character in Benidorm) got into a fight with his wife, I was paying half attention looking at my phone, but then I heard that unmistakable “Las caras, Juan” voice, and within .5 seconds I noticed the Loles León cameo.
Seeing this made me wonder how cool it would have been if we had a crossover between the characters of ANHQV and Benidorm for maybe an episode or two, or just more ANHQV cast cameos in general. I for one wonder how Juan Cuesta and family would have gotten along with the Garveys, the main family for the first 6 seasons of Benidorm.
