For the first time, a new era dawns for the world on r/Europe, Victoria 3 Multiplayer is here and we are inviting all to take part in this exciting occasion. After years of waiting, we can finally play the long awaited sequel to one of the greatest grand strategy games ever made!
### Sign-Ups Open
The games take place on the r/Europe discord server Saturday’s from 18:00—22:00 CET/CEST (16:00-20:00 GMT). The first game will take place on November 5th.

Due to past experiences, we will not be posting the sign-up form here on Reddit. Instead, you will have to join the r/europe discord mentioned below where you will find all relevant links in the #4x-annoucements channel.

All announcements, sign-up results, and other players will be in those channels. The 4x community is also a great place to find other gamers who are into similar games in the 4x genera like Stellaris, Civilization, Humankind, etc. We also look forward to seeing those spicy Victorian memes.
### Are there rules?
A full list of rules and other information can be found in the signup sheet.
### I’ve never played Victoria 3 multiplayer before! What do I do!?
Don’t worry, none of us have! But if you have never played grand strategy games in multiplayer before, here are a few tips. First, diplomacy is crucial. It can help you avoid conflicts with your neighbours, build strong bonds with them, and secure your ultimate victory.
You will likely talk with neighbours, allies and enemies throughout the weekdays. Feel free to ask more experienced players for tips and tricks.
Second, know and interact with the Great Powers in game. They are powerful for a reason and will shape a large portion of the world. Hedge your bets carefully, and a great power could very well propel you towards being one yourself!
Third, remember to have fun. Taking the game too seriously or becoming unhealthily invested are discouraged. Treat this as an opportunity to meet others who enjoy the same hobbies as you do, make friends, and have a great Saturday.
### We look forward to seeing you all on November 5th, until then take care!
