  1. Don’t forget the sunscreen if you visit La Chaux de fond in summer. It’s the equivalent of Miami in the canton of Neuchâtel.

  2. Lol, why would anyone not like La Chaux-de-Fonds? At this point it’s just the normal Swiss Bünzli hating on cities…

Edit: And then Erlenbach im Simmental made the list, that’s actually just a busy main road with a great view… Reminded me mainly of some argovian villages (plus the view) when I was there.

  3. pro tip: once youre there, tell everyone that youre a fan of “ehc biel”. they will all love you and give you hugs

  4. The musée international d’horlogerie is amazing there. I find it hilarious people are struggling to find ugly places in Switzerland.

  5. Went there for a Tchaux v Servette Swiss Cup match a few weeks ago. From what I remember, it’s nice but very quirky in terms of architecture but it was very freezing! I had too many beers during that day (oops)

  6. They know we have cool forests around the city

What do you mean, “visiting the city itelf” ??

Guess it’s still better than Le Locle and Yverdon

  7. I throw in Wil and Grenchen:

Grenchen is near Olten. Almost as meaningless as Olten, the ugly twin of Solothurn and almost as sad/poor as Biel, but without bilingue and lake.

Wil is the drive-through city on you way to St. Gallen where the don’t even give you mustard. On the other side is Winterthur where ppl only live to not live in Zurich. Sometimes I wish Wil wouldn’t exist, but then I remember that unemployed immigrants from the balkan also need a home.
