Is anyone that was on the fence about investing in a system now considering it more than before? Why/why not? Would love to see a discussion on how you all feel about this.

Anyone here have them? I’m thinking of getting them installed but I’m having trouble finding out if they are worth the effort or not. 4 bedroom dormer bungalow, currently using kerosene and my bill will probably be about ,€1000 this year.
Why do you need planning permission for solar panels in the first place? They go on the roof of an existing house.
I’m not sure if this will make much difference.
Yeah, good to have removed the need for planning.
I don’t think that’s the major impediment but it’s one hassle out of the way.
I put in my PV a year and a half ago. No planning permission required. Some guidelines needed to be followed, but that was it.
