  1. I don’t think there’s a catch, it’s divided Pro Rata; that means over the year; so € 2,5 per month for Luminus to keep you as a customer. If you leave after a month, you only got that € 2,5.

  2. These kind of actions used to be primarily to make you extend your contract unknowingly (was somewhere in the small print). But I assume there is no reason for that anymore as all energy suppliers are expensive anyway now and you are free to switch suppliers after a month anyway.

    So yay, €30 for you!

  4. Kattepis die 30 euro nu, zoveel mogelijk klanten lokken met weinig om maximale uit deze crisis te zuigen. 300 euro was nu in verhouding geweest.

  5. Zal toch eens moeten informeren bij de klantendienst, al meer dan 2j klant. Nog altijd de goedkoopste voor ons.

  6. Fear of losing costumers. Give you €2,5/month. Make it sound more by saying €30. And maybe you don’t go looking to different energy companies.

  7. I got a fixed contract with Luminus at the beginning of this year, and I’ve had nothing but problems. I couldn’t take my property of leegstandtarief (unknown error on their platform), for some reason my move from previous house is still pending, my gas contract randomly disappeared from their platform and is now nowhere to be found and so on. I wish they put that 30 euro into the development of their platform because Jesus Christ it’s bad that this is in production.

    On top of that they apparently owe me 150 euro now but they keep sending invoices, making that amount bigger each month. 🥴
