  1. There are still bacon chips with the same flavour in Polish shops.

  2. Just go to the nearest shop and you’ll find bacon flavour prażynki. Even my small neighbourhood store has them.

  3. I haven’t seen those flat ones in years, that’s true. But there are similar ones like Peppies or Prażynki from Przysnacki.

  4. The original company in Poland was created by a Greek investor in the early 90s and survived until 2005 when it was purchased by PepsiCo. Tasty seems to be a spinoff for Greece of Lay’s.

  5. Unfortunately, there is practically no corn bacon crisps in Poland anymore, although Star Foods are still somehow on the market under the Star brand belonging to frito lay. The last bacon corn crisps I saw in Poland were Hypers bekonowe. Peppies and prażynki are not the same.

  11. I ate them yesterday in Edinburgh! I don’t remember what the bag looked like when they sold them in Poland but so recognized the taste immediately! In fact, I think I took one bag with me

  17. Yes! I think I found similar chips in Dealz. I can’t really tell if they tasted like those I had 20 years ago, but they were definitely better than those crappy curly “bacon” crisps.

  23. I’m in America and a Polish grocery store by me had bacon flavored chips. It wasn’t this brand but they were delicious.
