Favourite bit was when he said we called the north Tiocfaidh ar la
How’d he know about the toasters?
Apart from the “Tiocfaidh ár lá” reference, he got it right. A lot of videos of this kind get one thing or another wrong.
I need to buy a pint for the man who gave him the Irish translation for the North.
Not bad, but people call it “Britain and Ireland.”
Nobody uses “these islands” or “anglo-celtic isles” in real life, and there’s no need to reinvent the wheel.
If we object to British Isles, and I do, we should keep the alternative to something simple already in use in real life. Britain and Ireland is fine.
Lebanese with weirdly American accents… great bunch of lads.
I’m Tiocfaidh ar La-ish
Something that he says but is a bit wrong. The country is not called the ‘Republic of Ireland’, it is just called ‘Ireland’. This is confusing because the island is also called ‘Ireland’
>There is no term for someone from the UK
I call them yookaysies. Still waiting for that to catch on
