Google translate doesn’t help much; it tries to tell me “kārumnieks” is “caterer” but I don’t think that’s right.
Digging deeper I find a definition with a bit more promise… “a person with a really refined taste in food or drink,” or “a person who really loves sweets.”
The first sounds more like “connoisseur.” The second sounds more like, well, “sweet tooth.”
I don’t have the sports knowledge or context to understand fully, but I wonder if the comment was meant to be something like people on Reddit say “I see you are a man of culture as well.”
But I digress. I don’t find that cake anywhere by that name. It seems like either this was a proprietary cake named by whatever place you were at, or the label was less of a name and more of an invitation somehow.
Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful tracking down your cake. If you want tasty cake, I suggest medus kūka. I fucking love medus kūka.
OP, this appears to be a specialty cake at the bakery you visited, rather than a generally known type of cake in Latvia.
Can you describe what it looked and tasted like, what was on it/inside?

“Ai” seems like an interjection like “oh!”
Interestingly I found this exact combination exactly once on the entire Internet with a Google search… Of all things, a reply to a comment on an article about a basketball game: https://sportacentrs.com/basketbols/eirokausi/22022012-blumam_svariga_cina_par_ieklusanu_eirolig?page=0 (bottom of comments section)
