Our finest musician. What an unbelievable genius. I was lucky enough to know him for the 20 years up until his passing. He had an energy I can only describe as magic. I never left his company without joy. About 2 years before he passed, he played the bonny bunch of roses as a slow air for me. It is a moment I will never forget. The most complete performance of music I have ever seen, and effortless. It flowed from him. He was made for Irish music and the accordion. Bed of heaven to you old friend ❤️
