I mean – it’s not like it’s common in Norway to just leave the lights on for no reason

Assuming LED bulb with 5w Power draw, that’s 1.7kWh consumed in two weeks, which is not a big deal.
If it’s led, who actually cares from a monetary point of view. It’s pretty insignificant compared to any other expenses.
What film is this from?
Nordland guy: “You guys pay electricity?”
Isn’t norway mainly hydro?
*ler på nordnorsk*
My wife has a leaving-the-house-and-leaving-all-the-lights-and-tv-on fetish.
Been trying to get her to turn a light off when she leaves a room. Its been 10 years.. no succes so far. She even turns on in a full daylight room.
Send help.
Please.
Interested to know how this is going for Norway? Have wide use of renewables not offset it at all?
I spent a lot of time in norway and literally every norwegian I loved woth let their lights on 24/7. If the kitchen light was on in the morning I knew my norwegian roommates were home. They even made fun of me how “german” it was of me to turn of the light when I left a room.
Brekken electricity prices are evil. My grandpas friend was billed 18000kr
