I’m planning to move there in the next few years but seeing this, I might pick out something a bit Norther up
To be fair giving people incentives to move and inhbit the northern parts of the country is good. That said infrastructure could use an improvement to be better prepared for shifting energy demand
Is that in eur?
Godamn that’s a big price difference between regions.
We’re paying roughly 56 eur per MWh here in Iceland
Some bullshit is right, we should cut Europe off and force the power companies to start selling it for acceptable prices again. Because of this nonsense they’re draining our reservoirs in their excitement for this gold rush so when winter comes everyone without firewood will freeze to death. Okay, I’m being dramatic, but I bet more will freeze to death than usual and I really hope they’re held responsible for that.
Source?
I live in the northernmost zone. My electricity bill for the last month was 282,29kr. The lowest it has ever been…
Since the cost of eletricity is not flattened across the country, wonder what would happen if it was the same thing for petrol and groceries.
Where is that map from ?
Because you arent welcome to Nordick Heros
Wanna know something more stupid? Up north in Sweden they import Norwegian power, then sends it down their line, and sells it back to us at an even higher rate. :3
Low energy prices in the north is a godsent gift for the northern economy, especially now as the salmon farms are now being taxed even more. Even though the high prices down south is bad for the people living there, low energy prices in the north is definitely not BS, especially for a region that has been neglected for most of our country’s history. There is already more investments coming to the north than ever before, namely because of the competitive advantage in energy prices. Just because the south is suffering from high prices, doesnt mean that the north is supposed to suffer as well just because. All in all, good for the north. Stop complaining.
Look at that flow out of Vestland!
Could someone help me understand this? I’m moving to Norway next month, and still trying to learn all the new concepts etc – coming from a country where energy price you pay is dictated by a national cap and which energy provider you decide to go with, so this is all new to me
So you pay different price in Norway depending on where you live? How is it decided? How come the difference in price is so much higher in some areas (doesn’t seem “fair”, or am I missing something simple)? Thanks!

17,19 vs **186,91 — 10x ????** That’s serious injustice for NO5, NO1, NO2, SE3. Are people in those zones somehow wealthier or more privileged? So much for equality and fairness.
Hva betyr dette?
Laughing in Nordnorsk 😂
NO3 here… Røros and fkin winter is coming………
Nope, some peoplde decided to not invest into the right sources of energy. This is real life where you cannot do whatever is sold best like imbeciles. You actually gotta think about whats an actual good solution. Which usually costs so much that it cannot afford marketing.
Sadly Kim K and the influenceres, the media, politicians etc decided to prioritize marketing over actuall value. And here you go, enjoy. Stupid superficial people who prioritize the look of the woman over what is beeing sold.
It’s so goddamn frustrating to watch. And see that this is what people choose.
Stop the steal
NO3 was almost in the negative last week I think. You need to start making power down south and not just consume it! Pull your part of the apple cart no.
Nice to see that electricity is exported to the UK (NSL) at a lower price than what we pay here in Norway. `/s`
