The 2 of them need to be unemployed as soon as possible.
The majority of Irish MEPs voted in favour, which I think was 9 yes, 2 clowns, and 1 abstaining Ming
Isn’t abstaining the same as voting against it??
Did they give their reasons for voting against it?
Resolution passed anyways. Take that condemning Russia!!!!
These 2 are a continuous embarrassment to Ireland
I think its a good thing we can have politicians say what they believe in and argue for it. There’s a serious amount of them who blatantly lie to us, lie about what their policies are, or will be in the future.
These two seem to go with how they feel.
I don’t agree with them on this matter but there’s more to this conflict than a stupid evil man just wanting to kill Ukrainians because he is addicted to skirmishes and small battles give him serotonin, like the media will have you believe.
Ukraine has been getting weapons and military training for years now from Russias enemies/rivals.
There will be missile bases in Ukraine in the next decade pointing at Russia and the end goal is to have missile launchers right along Russias border in these countries jut like the US has missile launchers right around China.
Armenia are in a conflict with a neighbour on Russias border further along and then further along again a country called krygastan or something is involved in another border dispute where Nato are arming one country and Russia are arming another.
This conflict is scummy from Russia but equally as scummy from the other big countries around the world.
The Saudis are bombing the shit out of Yemen jut like Russia are bombing the shit out of Ukraine, America are giving them weapons to do this.
Isreal is on a mission to take the middle east by slowly moving its border through it. There is an entire nation of people having their water turned off and all their rights taken away in Palestine so that Isreal can grow its population and house them in this area once the Palestinians die off or flee their land. America support that.
Egypt, Most of Africa,Syria nearly all of south America, Afghanistan and Iraq, Austrailia and a huge huge part of Asia, India and plenty of other countries are living through or have lived through big European countries or America treating them just like how Russia are treating Ukraine.
Would we be hypocrites to condemn one superpower while nodding like a bunch of saps at the other ones. Begging to be invited for Paddies day festivities?
I don’t know, but I wot get angry at a person for asking that question.
The thing about Nato, Europe, China, Russia, they’re such large entities that the things they get upto, there’s really no individual in a position to prevent regardless of if their agenda is right or wrong but what I don’t understand is, how do individuals look at certain situations and form an opinion while just refusing to even acknowledge undeiable realities?
Like the is no good side in the war going on, it’s a proxy war between US and Russia at the cost of Europe, all of our European goverments are involved most likely because they’re being paid off and all of this has been blatantly and clearly broadcasted to us through our national broadcasting networks.
Our current energy crisis was discussed months before the Ukraine war at the G6 summit in Glasgow, the crisis was not caused by the war, it was caused by the signing of a carbon emissions agreements proposed by the Biden administration, this was all over mainstream media for a solid week or two here in Ireland.
In terms of Russia, there was an agreement that Nato would not expand further towards Russian territory and that agreement was broken by Nato, there was also US chemical labs found in Ukraine, which undeniably is shaddy af
I’m just declaring now also, I’m NOT in support of Russia, Nato, Europe, China or any other governing body, but when I’m reading responses to this news, I can’t help but wonder, are people aware of all these aspects when making up their minds to support a side one way or the other?
How do you look at the situation, see the inconsistencies and wrong doings on all sides and then come to a conclusion that you should even take a side? I don’t see any side as having the moral upper hand, I can understand completely condemning the whole situation as it’s completely rancid that anyone should have to suffer over the power trip of our global leaders but to pick a side, is beyond my understanding
Can someone explain this to me? I read the artciel. Did the resolution pass? It said it does but is it binding? My understanding is that Ireland will give military support in terms of equipment to Ukraine.
If these two fuckers aren’t compromised in some way by the Russians , I’ll be amazed.
I would like to know their exact reasons for voting no, I am not saying whether they are right or wrong, but they have been blatantly misrepresented by the media in that past.
If the wording of the condemnation called for the creation and further federalisation of the European army or the expansion or blank cheque rearming and development of NATO. Then of course they would both against the resolution. Despite any other wording.
I have my concerns about Wallace and how bought and paid for, he appears to be by Beijing.
But that is the nature of democracy, if the public do not like the performance of their representatives, they can complain and get rid of them at the next election.
Everyone is entitled to their own view. Whether you agree with it or not.
it’s very funny that they always use that same photo lol
I think they’re gobshites but that is a savagely terrible picture of the two of them. She looks like she’s after having a row with her fella on a messy night out and the buck looks like he toured with Aslan from 84- 93 right before ‘crazy world’ came out, and he came up with the tune too, he’ll tell ya the whole story while the luas arrival board goes from 2min to 16min and you think ‘how in the fuck does the luas disappear?’.
Because the EU condemning Russia will escalate the conflict and will result in countless more lives taken on both sides. Does anyone actually want this war to end?
My guess is because they want Ireland to remain neutral.
Its lovely to be able to choose to be neutral…
Bet there’s a few Ukrainians who wish they could of been neutral.
Neutrality is just privilege writ large. You are privileged to be able to ignore this as doesn’t affect you.
What else was in the resolution? And why did they vote no?
Probably not a more nuanced reason, must be that Putin is sending them PayPal personally. Yeah that’s why.
Pair of monkeys. I was in a pub a few years back, he walked in and some old bloke just shouted “get out ta fuck”, and off he went.
Useful idiots for Putin the pair of them.
I wonder how much the kremlin are paying them.
Is there any option for a recall election?
Minimum, we need a petition calling in all 3 clowns to resign.
The AntiWar tripe is a poor disguise for any means to hamstring ukraine
Are they on the Kremlin gravy train or what the fuck is their problem? There’s no rhyme or reason to this.
These two asshats are shills for any autocratic government that throws a few coppers their way.
May they get the broom at the next election.
These two really need to fuck off. They do not speak for us as a majority.
Pair of dirtbags
These two are starting to bore me now. Like Orban in Hungary (albeit likely for different reasons) they’re always going to vote in a way that works in Russia’s favour. A leopard can’t change its spots. Ashamed to say I may have given Daly a vote back in 2019. That was before I came realise how breathtakingly stupid her take on geopolitics was.
The state of them, like Spinal Tap without humour.
A different opinion…..get em’ boys
Reminder of what a protest vote gets you
I for one can’t wait to make these 2 unemployed, they are a fucking embarrassment.
If the resolution “called for member states and other countries to massively increase their military assistance” as per the RTE article, then surely the headline should be 10 Irish MEPs vote against Ireland’s military neutrality?

No points for guessing
Absolute rogue clowns the pair of them
When are the next elections for Europe??
