  1. I mean… it’s quite flattering… that a country of our size could occupy Russia.

  2. I missed the part where that is true. Russia lost Moscov, but they were far away from losing independence to Poland

  3. I urge y’all to actually read about the occupation of Moscow instead of keeping reposting the same meme again and again. It wasn’t fun.

  4. are you guys sure Ukraine or Lithuania don’t kinda celebrate being their own separate things? They don’t exactly look at the commonwealth period in the same way Poles do

  5. It’s time to rescind it. They’ve proven themselves unworthy.

  6. Russia under Polish rule – 2,5 years in total. Poland under Russian rule – over 100 years. Guys, I have bad news for ya…

  7. As a Russian sometimes I think we will forever invade each other (as we look through history) when only small chance is appearing. Hope one day all imperialistic shit will disappear from all nations, my friends.

  8. Why not?

Polish Lithuanian kingdom attacked Russia and had sacked Moscow in 1610, for 2 years they have burned and pillaged the area, as well as the city.

Poland lost most of it’s territory to Russia and Sweden 20 years later.

As a matter of fact Poland and Russia have had about 2 dozen wars in the last 1000 years. Such is life of countries sharing borders.

Also it’s not an independence day.

    It’s a National Unity Day

Aside from being invaded by Poland, Russia had experienced what they call times of trouble where lawlessness took over the whole country. Poland had played a part in it.

  9. Btw, do Russians have some national holiday celebrating the independence from Poland?

    just curious

  10. Only beacuse they feal ashmed of the fact that poland conqeared moscow

  11. Belarus (officials) celebrates September 17th since 2020, so should be added as well

  12. Russia be like who wants this land? Lithuania?

Poland? No one guess I’ll keep it
