I flew to Athens in early September, bought a SIM card from the airport, put it on my phone
I open the vodafone app
It says 0 mb of data left
But data is still working (people can see my whatsapp messages despite me not using wifi, taxi app works on the street, etc)
1. What’s going on?
2. How do I figure out what to do next?
I want to keep on getting data for whatsapp, uber, Beat, etc and also an occasional phone call to the hotel
What I see in the app:

3. How do I figure out if it is the legitimate app? Vodafone greece or something it says

I happen to be one of the people that sell these SIM cards in a daily basis. To answer your question simply, the most common case scenario is that you are consuming card money from your card balance if you have already spent all your data (you can see your balance at the initial page of the app). If not, you have probably gained a few perks/gifts because you downloaded the application (5GB for Greece per new number loaded in the app). If you really want to know what’s going on, you should visit a Vodafone store, or stop by one of the Vodafone Hunters in any subway exit/entrance. And yes, the card that was sold to you is legitimate, same as the app and the person who gave it to you (we work with contracts). If you don’t want to visit a store, you can send me a quick DM and I can try to figure out what’s wrong.
(Side note, the Vodafone app is poorly updated and sometimes it glitches)
