Its 2007, the last time non tech workers in Ireland had any happiness. This is on the ad break during the panel and you have podge and rodge to look forward to afterwards
If I had all the money back that I spent on beer and breakfast rolls……
A truly bizzare time when the scrotes of Dublin Town had styled mullets, people bought legal drugs out of shops and the off licence was open until 12.30 on a Friday. You’d almost miss it sometimes
Non tech workers haven’t been happy since?
Does no one on this site know anyone that does well for themselves?
I’d personally rather work in construction like i do then sit on my arse all day looking at a screen.
Some people are cut out for tec work and some people aren’t.
You may be able to fix a computer issue but I’d rather be able to fix things in my own house and save a fortune.
It’s all on how you look at it
I was a tech worker and I left Ireland because I wasn’t a happy.
If nothing else we were happier in 2007 because the games being released were top tier each week. Bitta Halo 3, Cod4, Bioshock, Assassins Creed, Mario Galaxy, Portal and more.
Most people in tech in Ireland don’t earn a lot, it’s a lot of Op’s/CS/PM’s etc. Most of the big companies Apple/Google/Meta/Amazon etc. pay a big part of annual compensation as shares (taxed at 52%). The majority of Irish tech workers can’t even get a mortgage.
OP seems very butthurt about not having a STEM degree lmao.
Thank god we had a financial regulator in 2007, otherwise who knows what might have happened!!!
OP you sound like you’re seriously bitter about not having a STEM degree. Plenty of lads in construction making an absolute mint for themselves at the moment
