  1. Well.. it says not to put water on the coals. As that appears to be an electric sauna stove, there probably aren’t any coals anywhere in the vicinity. Problem sorted.

  2. Quick answer: because they are idiots.

Longer answer: because they don’t understand how sauna works, because they do not know how to do the electrical connections so it’s proper and safe to throw water on, because they are operating in a culture where no-one understands how to bathe sauna properly and safely without injuring themselves or others with the steam or just bugging the shit out of anyone by throwing loyly in an “I’m free to do whatever I want”- manner without considering others, because of legal liability issues in whatever neck of the woods this abomination-masquarading-as-sauna happens to be.

    Any or all above?

  3. What you should be filming is the floor. Does it have a drain? Can you peak under the wall panel and spot aluminum paper or moisture barrier? What does the electricity input for the stove look like?

  4. I have no answers. But what I can tell is that that stove is awfully small for that size sauna room. Also the benches look like some hapless Swede built them – which would explain all other peculiarities there, as Swedes are quite hapless about Sauna, they only know their much inferior bastu.
