  1. There’s no requirement for the EU to adjust their position. The protocol, as it stands, was agree to by the tory PM.

    However much the protocol is amended, it won’t appease the hardline unionists.

  2. Maybe have UK fully implement it first to show at least a *little* bit of integrity.

    Given the country’s been allowing raw sewage to be dumped in waterways, extending HGV maximum hours per shift, and other rather disappointing rules changes, the current agreement likely isn’t strict enough.

  3. First a UK Minister apologies for their conduct, then an Irish Minister states the protocol was ‘a little too strict’

    Almost like things are on the mend
