The sub romanticising Sinn Fein and the IRA, even ironically, would make you feel fucking ill.
How does anyone support a group of drug dealers masquerading as Irish patriots? In the last 3 years alone the cunts have tried to bomb a court house, bomb Waterloo Station and Heathrow Airport, killed a journalist, and as recently as February shot a teenager in the legs.
Then you have their fucking buddies in SF showing up to the cunts funerals when the scummy bastards have the good sense to die.

I am absolutely convinced the average age of this place is 16. Every day you see posts about people asking how to talk to people in real life, how they have no friends, are lonely, bullying stories etc then the moment anything to do with the Brits and the IRA pops up suddenly it’s full of knife between the teeth rebels with nothing to lose. This is also quite literally the only place outside of the book Dubliners I have seen anyone ever use the term West Brit.
Most of this sub didn’t even know who she was a few days ago.
The troubles was a British war against its own citizens. 99% of protagonists held UK passports. Ireland had no influence over this. Don’t let yourself be defined by UK and its propaganda. People in UK think it was UK v Ireland and it wasn’t. It was poor british people (most UK soldiers) against poorer British people framed as heroic defence. Mixed up with all the collusion etc it almost looks stage managed and everyone was expendable. So yeah don’t rise to it.
