The UK should follow what the Swedes did – complete disestablishment of the monarchy, reduction to only a ceremonial role.
The way the Danish monarchy works is very similar to that in the UK (except there’s a written constitution formally outlining the role).
Yes absolutely. 7 working royals. King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Royal, Earl and Countess of Wessex (to be promoted to Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh). That is enough. All are dedicated to their roles. Everyone else should be cut loose, especially the Yorks and the Sussex’s. Queen Margarethe has led the way for European constitutional monarchies. The only thing I would add is that some of these people are pretty old so there might actually be a shortage of working royals in a decade or two.

Abolish monarchy, allow them to live in their castles and estates still contributing to tourism without the political influence.
