no, people want you to be a reliable partner. Germany should stop saying this leadership crap and avoid anything suggesting this, any whiff of possible German domination will revert Europe back many decades.
Both Schroeder and Merkel were likely Russian agents. Merkel comes from East Germany, she was a researcher. KGB was known to recruit among university students. Many communist agents became sleeper agents. Putin was a KGB officer in Eastern Germany. Merkel had a special relationship with Putin and all her politics served Russia. If it walks, talks and quacks like a duck, it is likely a duck. Just an opinion of someone born under communism.
