I’m glad for him, but I do feel for the woman, she was hauled over the coals… but she received 8 stitches it wasn’t a little scratch.
Here’s hoping he really does make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else in the future.
I absolutely adore dogs, but at the end of the day, a woman was attacked here and had to get stitches. He clearly wasn’t being a responsible dog owner.
I’ve a funny feeling that if it was the woman whose dog had bitten a pensioner so badly he had to get 8 stitches while it was unaccompanied on a public road, this story would have been reported on very differently.
Irresponsible dog owners really suck.
Delighted for him. Although I have a dog who doesn’t like strangers, she wouldn’t bite but she is also never allowed outside the front of the house or off the lead anywhere she might meet one.
At the end of the day a dog should be only let out where it can’t get into a public road.
I see that woman has been named, doxxed and had horrible stuff said about her. When it’s the dog owners fault.
Small dogs can be very, very agressive. It’s a good thing they are small. I see vicious Bichons and terriers regularly when I am out walking my German Shepherd. The owners do very little to train them or correct them apart from trying to shout ‘no Fi-Fi, NO’ frantically over all their barking and snarling.
Love that for all his sniping about celebrity activism Ricky Gervais was quick enough to insert himself into to a situation he knew very little about
I love dogs and have had dogs in the household for almost as long as I’ve been alive, but lord save us there are some amount of cunts who just utterly neglect their animals and let them run wild.
I live in a rural area and within about 200 meters of my house I know of three dogs who will come out and try and nip you. One of them is actually fucking dangerous because it’s an Alsatian. I don’t walk out that way anymore because of how dangerous he is. I really wish there was stricter enforcement of animal welfare and licensing laws in Ireland.
I have 3 terriers and they suffer from small man syndrome , one in particular thinks he’s a tiger and not a West highland terrier
