First-time buyers fail stress tests ahead of further ECB rate hikes

  1. I drew down with finance Ireland just before this all kicked off. 3.35% fixed for 10 years. I think I was stress tested at about 5% and would have passed a stress test up to 6.5%

    If I was stress tested today with them it would be at 7.85% (2% above their 90% LTV new 5.85% variable rate) wouldn’t have had a hope
