  1. > It’s a way of providing a deterrent against possible attacks on important military targets in Belgium, e.g. the port of Antwerp

Have you even read the article you posted yourself?

  2. This is in reaction to Putin’s threats of tactical nukes. This is a good thing – especially within the thesis of MAD. However, NATO is unable to climb the same steps of escalation that Russia is doing. The West (the US) has dismantled its supply of tactical nukes that can be launched via missiles, so we’re forced to dro them via airplanes.

I doubt we would further escalate by giving the Ukraine the planes ánd nukes to retaliate. It’d be a more realistic threat to deploy the same caliber of nukes like Russia.

That being said, I doubt Russia will do this as they’d probably lose international support in a heartbeat.

  3. *toot toot*

All aboard the “we´re now the biggest target for a nuke, thanks a lot NATO” train to crazyville!

  4. If Putin destroys Port of Antwerp he will be in trouble with the coke maffia.
Our soldiers will march on xtc if coke import drops.
