There’s a statue of Jesus in Klin (a cheaper copy of Rio de Janeiro’s one), even if you aren’t a religious person, the view up there is quite nice. In other comments you said that you’re going to Oravice for this trip, right? I mean if you can catch the sunset there, it would be quite amazing. There’s a parking space right beneath the statue, so don’t worry about climbing all the way up the hill.
In Tvrdošín There’s also a Gallery of Mária Medvecká, an Artist from the 20th century, who painted mostly the People and landscape of Orava. It’s quite nice, if you’re into it.
There is also a ferry to the Slanica Island, but I cannot tell you if it is still in use currently, or whether “the season” has ended. But if it is, it departs from near “Slanický Dvor Restaurant” just a bit northwest from there, so you can check it out in the way easily.
In Námestovo, stay away from Zion Fast Food Restaurant, it may be cheap in a way, but so is the food, if not worse. There’s newly opened Asian restaurant called WokDock near it tho. Very good food, but quite pricy. Other recommendedations for restaurants: Jeans Pub, Port Club, Bistro Marina. And if you want to check out the Ranch not far from the city, which is also a restaurant, “Ranč u Edyho” is the place you’ll be looking for.
And if you’ll find yourself hungry along the way, There’s bunch of restaurants you can check out.
Zlatný Potok in Mútne,
Zbojnícka Koliba in Oravská Jasenica,
Pohoda in Babín,
Koliba pod Lampášom in Oravský Podzámok,
Senátor Pizzeria in Tvrdošín,
Koliba Hubertka in Oravice,
Slanický Dvor in Tvrdošín (on the Way to Namestovo).
I have no other things on mind, I feel like I’ve prepped my kid for a schooltrip lol. Anyway, safe travels and happy adventuring!
People posted the suggestions already so I just want to say you already picked the most glorious region of Slovakia. Enjoy it.

Zuberec – tourist hub, there’s an open air museum and Spalena valley (dolina) with many hiking routes to West Tatras.
Oravice – thermal spa, thermal aquapark and very nice gorge called Juranova valley nearby.
Oravsky Podzamok – Orava castle – the biggest castle in Slovakia with picturesque square under it.
Namestovo – very nice lake shore with many restaurants
Oravska Polhora – start of the hike to Babia Hora.
Overall, there’s very nice nature in the whole Orava region with endless hiking routes.

Aside from the other stuff already mentioned, there’s a UNESCO church in Tvrdošín.
