Hello, how do I get A2 driving license? From here I understand that I don’t have to do a test for A2 and on the internet I haven’t read good info. I have driving license from 7 years ago and l’m 27 yo.

I think this is wrong, you can only get **A1** with a **B** Licence
Hello
You can apply for an lehrausweis A2 then you can ride a bike in that category the lehrausweis is valid for 1 year in this year you have to make the 3 basic courses to ride a bike. If you made the courses you have extended the lehrausweis for another year and in this time you have to make the practical exam.
iirc you only need to redo the eye sight test and the first aid test for the the blue L, if they were done too long ago.
for the *A1* you need to do 12h of driving school with practical elements. You would need 125cc bike for that and a helmet.
the *A2* (or A35kw) you need the same as A1 with 4h extra, then you need to prepare (preferably with an instructor) for the test. For this you need a bike stronger than a 125 but less than 35kw and full gear.
for the *A* licence (unrestricted) you would need 2 years experience after doing the test and you would need to do a secound test with an unrestricted bike (>35kW). It got changed a few years ago.
This is assuming you already have the B licence.
The motorcycle test is no joke! You will need to practice slow speed stuff and you will need to practrice their manouvers and proper curving technique. Ive seen many people who fell thought the test, because they thought their friend could teach them or they could learn it themselves.
With a B you can get a “test free” A1 or A2 but you must take the 3 x 4 hour mandatory driving instruction lessons.
Just go to your local Verkehrsamt and tell what you want to do (get an A2). They will help you with your temporary L and inform your about the time you have to complete these 3 4 hour lessons.
hi, register for a ‘lernfahrausweis’ in your canton (you find the forms for the canton on the cantons site), do an eyesight test if its required, send it to the cantons Strassenverkehrsamt. Voilà, you get the lernfahrausweis. Then you have to take the basic course which you’ll find plenty in your region. the instructor will stamp it in your lernfahrausweis and digitally sign it too, so that the strassenverkehrsamt has it digitally. Now exercise the basics, which your instructor will do with you at the course. then if you feel ready, sign up for the driving test
Apply for a Lernfahrausweis in your local Strassenverkehrsamt.
You’ll be applying the one for “A35kw” if you already have B Drivers Permit. Then if you pass the Test, you’ll get the A (for Heavy Motor Bicycles) after 2 Years driving without any issues on “A35kw”.
Considering there is no A2 in Switzerland (Comparisdoes use some self-made up nomenclature) you cant.
More seriously, you apply for an “A (35 kW)” a.k.a “-A”, a.k.a “A-” a.k.a “A restricted” learners permit, do the mandatory basic motorcycle training (Grundkurs) which is 3 times 4 hours, and than pass the practical exam. Learners usually use their own motorcycle.
With your leaners permit, and your bike with a blue L you can practice on all roads of Switzerland and Lichtenstein. But not in any other country.
You have 4 month to do the Grundkurs from the time you got your A (35 kW) learners permit. If you miss it for whatever reason (zero excuses), your learners permit will be void. You can get ONE new learners permit. You have 4 attempt for the practical exam. The exam will be held in any weather. There will be no exams (except in Ticino) during the winter months.
PS: There is /r/toeff looking for some new audience and posts.
“At least 2 years’ experience riding cat” I’m not sure she’ll appreciate that but I’ll try
