It’s just an shambles it really is.
Nothing but jingoistic slogans being banded about but the usual sort and no real ambition or direction for the country.
All throughout the leadership process people were pointing out she was a an absolute idiot who would go whichever way the wind blows and the right wing press wanted her for that reason.
And this is where we are.
Braverman made me laugh “people choose to top up wages with tax credits” choose ? You mean they aren’t paid enough by their employer and you let the company get away with it by subsidising them ?

I’d always thought politics was like watching tadpoles in a pond. But the past few weeks has reminded us that we’re swimming in the same river as a bunch of reckless blue nosed piranhas. Tey might be tearing flesh from the weakest now, but they will be coming for the rest of us soon enough.
Policies not in any manifesto, or on which the Tory Party was elected. In fact they are ‘distancing’ themselves from those that won the people’s mandate to govern. Our system is broken, and we need a general election now.
If the last 6 years could bring about the collapse of our political system so it can be at least somewhat fixed, it would be so good.
